We're thrilled to launch our first newsletter and share the incredible journey ahead. Crossing Bridges, Inc. is more than an organization—we're a movement dedicated to empowering youth and young adults to build bridges to brighter futures.
Our Mission in Action
Every young person deserves a chance to thrive—not just survive. At Crossing Bridges, we connect youth and young adults with supportive services, trusted partners, and pathways to stability and growth. Whether they're navigating the challenges of aging out of foster care, pursuing education, seeking stable housing, or building career skills, we walk alongside them every step of the way.
Our approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and centered on what young people need most: consistent support, genuine connections, and opportunities to discover their own strength and potential.
Our Five Core Programs
Each program is designed to address critical needs and create lasting impact in the lives of the young people we serve.
🏠 Bridge Home
Providing safe, stable housing and transitional living support. We help young adults secure housing, learn independent living skills, and build the foundation for long-term stability.
🤝 Connected for Life
Building meaningful relationships through mentoring and community connections. Every young person needs trusted adults in their corner—we create those life-changing relationships.
📚 Thrive Scholars
Supporting educational success from GED preparation to college completion. We provide tutoring, academic coaching, college access support, and resources to help students reach their full potential.
💼 Pathway to Prosperity
Opening doors to economic opportunity through workforce development, job readiness training, career coaching, and employment connections that lead to sustainable careers.
💚 Whole Health
Addressing mental, physical, and emotional wellness through holistic health support, counseling connections, and resources that recognize healing happens from the inside out.
💫 A Story of Hope: Meet Jordan
At 18, Jordan aged out of foster care with nowhere to go and no clear path forward. "I felt completely alone," Jordan shares. "I had been in seven different homes since I was 12. I didn't know how to pay bills, find an apartment, or even cook a real meal."
Through our Bridge Home program, Jordan found stable housing and connected with a mentor through Connected for Life. "My mentor, Maria, didn't just help me figure out adulting—she believed in me when I didn't believe in myself."
Today, Jordan is enrolled in community college through our Thrive Scholars program and working part-time at a local business connected through Pathway to Prosperity. "Crossing Bridges didn't just help me survive—they helped me build a life I'm proud of. For the first time, I have goals, I have support, and I have hope."
